- RESPONSIBILITIES
- Set-up and operate 3-5 axis lathes to produce parts to precise dimensions and within close tolerances
- Ability to operate multiple machines simultaneously
- Review electronic or writ10blueprints or specifications for a job.
- Calculate where to cut or bore.
- Select tools and materials for the job.
- Monitor and control feed rate and speed.
- Ensure workpiece is properly lubricated and/or cooled.
- Monitor the accuracy of cuts.
- Check accuracy of work against blueprints and specifications.
- Use manual and computer-controlled machinery.
- Performs other duties as assigned or requested.
- QUALIFICATIONS
- Ability to set up and operate 3-5 axis machines
- Ability to use measuring tools.
- Regular and reliable attendance
- Must be able to comprehend blueprints, work orders, and other technical documents.
- Willing to work non-standard and/or additional hours on short notice to support near term customer milestones and schedules (Overtime, Off-shifts)
- Must pass a hands-on exam that will test your general knowledge.

- Physical Requirements:
- Must be able to walk up and down stairs
- Lift and carry up to 25lbs.
- Push up to 50lbs on a rolling cart
- Compensation commensurate with experience
- Must be able to pass a drug screen for substances illegal in the state of California as well as a background check.
