Diploma in Welding Technology, AWS D1.

Job Detail
  • Two (2) years experience or Diploma in Welding Technology, AWS D1.1 Certification.
  • Experience with Microsoft Office and/or Google Workspace, spreadsheets, presentation and collaboration apps and software.
  • Preferred Qualifications Preferred:
  • Associate degree or higher. **Note: Degrees and hours must be from a college accredited by a United States Department of education accepted accrediting agency such as SACSCOC.
  • Essential Duties ESSENTIAL DUTIES AND RESPONSIBILITIES include the following. Other duties may be assigned.
  • Assume responsibility for teaching assignments as designated by the department chairperson and approved by the dean.
  • Assume responsibility for maintaining all required College records including attendance and grade reports, roll books, etc.
  • Make recommendations to Department Chair for supplies, equipment, and equipment repairs.
  • Construct, administer, and grade examinations.
  • Assume responsibility for being familiar with and adhering to all policies of the College.
  • Attend specialized training activities that enhance job performance and foster a welcoming environment.
  • Maintain confidentiality and security of sensitive information.
  • Pursue continuous improvement in the areas of subject matter expertise. teaching and learning. the use of educational technology.
  • Facilitate the learning process by designing and implementing inclusive instructional activities that are appropriate and meaningful and that maximize equitable student outcomes.
  • Demonstrated practice of fostering welcoming environments in the classroom and among your team.
