Job Detail
- Follow standard operating procedures to prepare, build and, post process composite parts
- Work closely with the Paint Foreman to aid in surface preparation, ie: bodywork and precision sanding
- Aid in general camper assembly and vehicle integration
- Aid in fabrication
- Aid in diagnostics and service
- Perform all work according to procedures, specifications, and instructions
- Use various mechanical tools without prior instruction
- Collaborate with production engineers to develop and document manufacturing processes
- Ensure all production services are performed on time, safely and in a professional manner
- Basic Qualifications
- High school diploma or equivalency certificate
- General proficiency using hand tools
- 1+ years of experience working in a hands on, tool dependent setting. construction site, mechanic shop, bodyshop, fabrication shop, manufacturing facility, machine shop, personal projects/remodels
- Preferred Skills and Experience
- Attention to detail
- Willingness to learn
- Skill in operating and manipulating machinery and various hand and power tools requiring manual dexterity
- Ability to use precision measuring instruments
- Ability to rapidly change roles/responsibilities while working in a high-paced, challenging work environment
- Ability to document workflow and communicate effectively
- Proficient with computers and the ability to use MS Office, Google Drive
- Ability to work effectively in a team environment
- 1+ years experience working on automotive/marine bodywork and paint projects
- Additional Requirements
- Ability to lift 50lb unassisted
- Ability to work on ladders and in confined spaces
- Willing to work extended hours as needed
- Compensations, Schedule, and Benefits
- Pay range: Level 1: $50,000-$60,000 annually, Level 2: $60,000-65,000 annually. Base salary will be determined on a case-by-case basis and may vary based on job-related knowledge and skills, education, and experience.
- Work Schedule: In shop, 6:30 am- 4:30 pm Monday-Thursday
