Qualifications
Diploma or GED with a minimum of 2(2) years of experience as a Mechanic/Technician required.

Job Detail
  • Operate and perform thorough inspection of cranes in order to diagnose defects.
  • Diagnose, repair and troubleshoot various mobile hydraulic and lattice cranes. repair hydraulic and electrical components.
  • Examines parts for damage or excessive wear using micrometers and gauges. Reads, understands and interprets operating and parts manuals, blueprints and technical drawings.
  • Tests mechanical, electronic, electrical and hydraulic products and equipment after repair or modification to ensure proper operation and compliance with OEM specifications.
  • Prepares for jobs by checking parts and drawings for accuracy and completeness.
  • Perform thorough and accurate annual inspections.
  • Properly fills out working reports, hours reports, time sheets, hours overviews and expense reports.
  • Capable of accomplishing tasks independently without direct supervision.
  • Provides excellent customer service.
  • Other duties as assigned.
  • Requirements High School Diploma or GED with a minimum of 2(2) years of experience as a Mechanic/Technician required.
  • Experience working with different forms of mobile crane equipment, specifically Grove RT TMS Cranes. Grove GMK European Cranes. Manitowoc EPIC and/or Traditional Cranes. National Boom Trucks preferred.
  • Must be able to read both electrical and hydraulic schematics.
  • Must have excellent communication skills with a customer/client focus.
  • Possession of a valid driver’s license with a satisfactory driving record preferred.
  • Basic computer skills preferred.
  • Required to purchase full set of hand tools up to 1.5 inches.
