Job Detail
- Perform routine maintenance and repairs on diesel engines and related systems.
- Diagnose mechanical issues using schematics and technical manuals.
- Repair or replace components such as shocks, struts, air brakes, and other essential parts.
- Fabricate parts as needed to ensure optimal vehicle performance.
- Utilize welding techniques for repairs and modifications.
- Operate cranes and other equipment safely during repairs.
- Maintain accurate records of all services performed and parts used.
- Collaborate with service technicians to ensure timely completion of repairs.
- Diesel Mechanic Skills
- Proficient in diagnosing issues with diesel engines and related systems.
- Experience with air brake systems and their maintenance.
- Ability to read and interpret schematics for troubleshooting purposes.
- Skilled in welding and fabrication techniques.
- Strong problem-solving skills with the ability to dig deep into mechanical issues.
- Excellent communication skills for effective collaboration with team members.
- Diesel Mechanic Compensation/Benefits:
- $23-$34/hr BOE
- Working mon thru fri 7 to 3:30
