Job Detail
- Perform routine maintenance on diesel engines, including oil changes, filter replacements, and brake repairs.
- Diagnose mechanical issues using diagnostic tools and equipment.
- Repair and replace components such as air brakes, hydraulics, and HVAC systems.
- Conduct inspections of vehicles to ensure compliance with safety standards.
- Align wheels and adjust suspensions as necessary to maintain vehicle performance.
- Maintain accurate records of services performed and parts used.
- Collaborate with team members to ensure efficient workflow.
- Qualifications
- Proven experience as a Diesel Mechanic or similar role in vehicle maintenance.
- Strong knowledge of diesel engine components and systems.
- Familiarity with brake repair, air brake systems, hydraulics, and HVAC systems.
- Ability to operate industrial equipment such as a wheel loader.
- Excellent problem-solving skills and attention to detail.
- Strong communication skills to work effectively within a team environment.
- Relevant certifications in diesel mechanics or related fields are preferred but not required.
