Overview we are seeking a skilled horizontal directional drill operators and locators to join our team in a dynamic construction environment.
Salary Detail
$30 – $35 an hour

Job Detail
- Installation of Underground Fiber Optic Telecommunications for a blanket job covering the State of Iowa. Work will begin in Easter Iowa
- Work will continue full season with Winter weather related days
- Our crews are Composite
- Must have Locating Experience for drill head
- Must be 25 or older and Must have a Valid Drivers license
- Use of hand tools such as shovels, spades and other digging equipment to bury fiber for mainline and installation in customers yards.
- Yard Restoration is Required leaving the customers yards as though we were not there
- Main line boring and residential
- You will work in areas located for utilities
- You will follow the direction of your crew Foreman and maintain visual and audible contact with all crew members
- You will maintain Safe Working habits according to All Company protocols
- You will maintain professionalism and Respect as you are in the eye of public at all times

- You will follow all company protocols for efficiency and Maintenace of trucks and equipment
- Collaborate with construction teams to ensure accurate utility location and marking.
- Maintain a safe work environment by following all safety protocols on construction sites.
- Document findings and report any discrepancies or issues related to utility locations.
- Participate in site surveys and inspections to ensure compliance with regulations.
- Requirements
- Proven experience using Locator for Drill Head
- Proven Experience operating 20×22 and 10×15 Vermeer drills
- Familiarity with construction site operations and safety standards.
- Strong attention to detail with the ability to accurately locate and mark utilities.
- Excellent communication skills to work effectively with team members and other stakeholders.
- Ability to work outdoors in various weather conditions and perform physical tasks as required.
