Job Detail
- Operate heavy machinery including dozers, loaders, backhoes, excavators, cranes, and front loader trucks to perform earthmoving, grading, lifting, and material handling tasks.
- Manage equipment such as dump trucks, water trucks, roll-off trucks, and tanker trucks for transportation of materials and waste.
- Conduct routine inspections and maintenance of equipment to ensure optimal performance and safety standards.
- Assist with site preparation, excavation, foundation work, and other construction activities requiring precise equipment handling.
- Collaborate with project managers and team members to execute construction plans efficiently while adhering to safety protocols.
- Follow all safety guidelines and regulations to maintain a secure work environment on-site.
- Skills
- Proven experience operating heavy construction equipment such as dozers, loaders, backhoes, excavators, cranes, and similar machinery.
- Mechanical knowledge of construction equipment maintenance and troubleshooting.
- Experience with various types of trucks including front loader trucks, dump trucks, water trucks, roll-off trucks, and tankers.
- Construction site experience with a solid understanding of safety procedures and site logistics.
- Ability to operate specialized machinery like concrete mixers and farm machinery when required.
- Commercial driving skills with a valid driver’s license preferred.
- Familiarity with Caterpillar equipment or similar brands is advantageous.
- Strong physical stamina and attention to detail to ensure safe operation in demanding environments. This position offers an opportunity for experienced operators to contribute significantly to large-scale construction projects while utilizing their technical skills in a dynamic environment.
