Job Brief
Housesmart construction mason and laborers / tendersthe mason, laborer/tender works to safely assist the crew chief and team on the job site.

Job Detail
- Work as a safety-focused team player by helping the Crew Chief and team daily with the construction, site-preparation, and installation of block foundation walls.
- Mixes cement using hoes, cement-mixing equipment and or hand tools.
- Cuts or brakes block using hammers, powered saws or hand tools.
- Lays block following instructions and/or plans.
- Work with the team to help keep the job site clean and free of debris.
- Safely operate specialty heavy equipment, under the direction and supervision of leadership.
- Job Requirements:
- Ability to work in all outdoor conditions (extreme heat/cold, rain/snow) while leading and motivating teams.
- Previous construction-related experience a plus which could be residential or commercial.
- Excellent driving record. CDL or additional driving certifications a plus.
- Safety certifications (OSHA certifications, First Aid, CPR, etc.) a plus.
- You enjoy training and enforcing a positive, high paced environment within your team.
- Can safely lift up to 50 lbs. independently. Can safely assist with lifting and moving 100+lbs.
- Committed to a high level of customer satisfaction and takes pride in your work.
- Able to stand, stoop, push, pull, bend and climb consistently throughout a workday.
