Job Detail
- Perform expert diagnostics, troubleshooting, and repair of gas and electric fireplaces, addressing ignition systems, gas pressures, venting, and other components to manufacturer specifications.
- Conduct fireplace startups and lead informative, professional homeowner orientations.
- Serve as the company’s field representative, negotiating solutions and resolving conflicts with a high degree of professionalism.
- Utilize your deep product knowledge to recommend and sell after-market service parts, products, and accessories.
- Proactively identify potential issues in the field and implement solutions to prevent future problems.
- Maintain clear and effective communication with both internal teams and external clients.
- Uphold all company safety standards and procedures without exception.
- Who You Are (Qualifications Skills):
- Minimum of 2 years of experience in the construction, HVAC, or a related technical service industry.
- Proven ability to diagnose and repair mechanical, electrical, and gas-fired systems.
- An exceptional problem-solver with independent judgment and the confidence to make decisions on behalf of the company.
- Extremely detail-oriented, methodical, and highly organized with impeccable follow-up skills.
- A professional and articulate communicator, with excellent oral and writ10communication skills for interacting with a diverse clientele.
- A true team player who can also excel independently in a fast-paced, ever-changing environment.
- Proficient with standard computer software and diagnostic tools.
- Possesses a strong work ethic, sound judgment, and common sense.
