- ARCH Home Crafters is a Residential Construction company specializing in building custom built homes in the Western half of North Carolina. Based in Deep Gap we operate in Watauga, Ashe, Wilkes, and surrounding counties. Operating on a customer contract by contract basis we handle it all from the foundation to the roof, and we are looking for an experienced carpenter for our main crew. Applicants must have experience with the reading of blueprints, handling all material necessary, and be comfortable with the use of pneumatic and electric power tools. Applicants will be responsible for their own hand tools and belt, and must be willing to adhere to strict safety guidelines. Applicants must have reliable transportation and be willing to commute to different job sites in the operating area. Applicants must have experience with heavy equipment. We are seeking some1with 10+ years of experience who is comfortable working with a crew of roughly 5 builders and who can easily communicate with subcontractors and the customer when the need arises. Monday through Friday, 8am-6pm. Weather can effect hours of operation.
