Dump Truck Driver
As a Dump Truck Driver, you will play a crucial role in our operations by transporting materials to and from construction sites. Your expertise in handling heavy equipment and your commitment to safety will ensure that projects run smoothly and efficiently. What you’ll do
Operate dump trucks to transport materials such as gravel, dirt, and other materials to and from various construction sites.
Load and unload materials using the dump truck’s hydraulic system.
Collaborate with site managers and other team members to ensure timely delivery of materials.
Conduct pre-trip and post-trip inspections of the vehicle to ensure safety and compliance with regulations.
Inspect the dump truck before and after each trip to ensure it is in good working condition. Report any issues or needs to appropriate personnel.
Load and unload materials using heavy equipment such as excavators, loaders, and backhoes.
Maintain accurate logs of driving hours, materials transported, and vehicle maintenance.
Follow all safety protocols while operating heavy machinery on construction sites.
Assist in the operation of additional equipment such as dozers, graders, water trucks, and tankers as needed.
Experience operating a Roll-Off truck is a plus.
Ability to safely maneuver the dump truck in various weather condition and on different terrains.
Participate in ongoing training to enhance skills in horizontal drilling, paving, and other construction-related tasks.
Basic qualifications
Valid commercial driver’s license (CDL) with a clean driving record.
Proven experience operating dump trucks and other heavy equipment.
Strong mechanical knowledge for troubleshooting minor vehicle issues.
Preferred qualifications
Experience working on construction sites with a solid understanding of site operations.
Familiarity with various heavy equipment operations.
Ability to work collaboratively in a team-oriented environment.

Pay: $20.00 – $25.00 per hour
Expected hours: 40 – 50 per week
