Job Summary
We are seeking a skilled and reliable Asphalt Lute Man to join our construction team. This role involves assisting with paving operations and ensuring the smooth application of asphalt surfaces. This position offers an opportunity to work on diverse projects, contribute to high-quality pavement installation, and develop skills in heavy equipment operation.
Responsibilities
Assist with asphalt paving by properly using the lute to level and smooth freshly laid asphalt
Maintain safety standards on-site, including proper use of personal protective equipment
Support the paving crew with material handling, positioning, and compaction tasks
Assist in preparing the work area for paving projects, including site setup and cleanup
Skills
Knowledge of paving processes and construction site safety protocols
Strong understanding of construction site procedures and safety standards
Excellent teamwork skills with the ability to follow instructions accurately
Prior experience in construction or paving projects is highly desirable
This position requires a dedicated individual who is committed to safety, quality workmanship, and efficiency on construction sites. Candidates should have a strong work ethic to succeed in this role.
Job Type: Full-time
Pay: $19.00 – $25.00 per hour
