Operator – Water/Wastewater

Wharton-Smith, Inc. currently has immediate openings in the Panama City, FL area for an Operator position.

Primary responsibilities: Excavate, Load trucks, hold grade, dig for pipe, explore for pipe safely, Push dirt and maintain grade with dozer and loader
Technical skills: Read blueprints for grade work and elevations, Run large size excavator, dozer, loader. Certification as required by OSHA or Manufacturer for specific pieces of equipment.

Qualifications:
Prefer valid Driver’s license.
Must have reliable transportation to get to job site.
Successful completion of pre-employment screenings.
Prefer construction experience
Preferred Skills:
High School diploma and on-the-job training preferred.
