Heavy Equipment Operator

Job Summary
We are seeking a skilled Equipment Operator to join our construction and heavy machinery team. The ideal candidate will be responsible for operating a variety of heavy equipment and trucks on construction sites, ensuring safety, efficiency, and precision in all tasks. This role requires a strong understanding of mechanical systems and construction operations, with the ability to work in dynamic environments. Prior experience with construction site machinery and commercial driving is highly valued.
Responsibilities
Operate heavy equipment including dozers, loaders, backhoes, excavators, cranes, and other construction machinery with precision and safety.
Conduct routine inspections of equipment before use to identify potential issues and perform basic maintenance when necessary.
Follow all safety protocols and construction site regulations to maintain a safe working environment.
Assist with the setup and breakdown of construction sites by moving materials and equipment efficiently.
Collaborate with project managers and team members to ensure timely completion of tasks.
Experience
Proven experience operating heavy construction machinery such as dozers, loaders, backhoes, excavators, cranes, and similar equipment.
Construction site experience is highly preferred.
Mechanical knowledge related to heavy equipment maintenance and troubleshooting.
Valid commercial driver’s license (CDL) with experience driving various trucks including front loader trucks, dump trucks, water trucks, roll-off trucks, and tanker vehicles.
Familiarity with Caterpillar equipment or similar brands is advantageous.
Experience working with farm machinery or other specialized vehicles like concrete mixers or tankers is a plus.
Ability to work in physically demanding environments while maintaining safety standards. This position offers an opportunity to work on diverse projects utilizing a broad range of heavy machinery in a professional setting dedicated to safety and quality workmanship.

Pay: $20.00 – $35.00 per hour
