Irrigation Technician

Duties & Responsibilities
Repairs and replaces hoses, pipes, and numerous types of sprinkler heads and fixtures .
Turns irrigation systems on and off as designated.
Operates timers, clocks, and controls for sprinklers.
Replaces or repairs irrigation valves.
May assist in various maintenance activities as required.
Installs or repairs irrigation lines.
Ensures proper care in the use and maintenance of equipment and supplies; promotes continuous improvement of workplace safety and environmental practices.
Minimum Job Requirements
Experience preferred however willing to train the right candidate.
Knowledge, Skills, and Abilities
Ability to install, operate, troubleshoot and repair manual and/or computerized irrigation systems.
Ability to perform irrigation tasks such as operate timers, clocks, and controls for sprinklers.
Knowledge of manual and/or computerized irrigation systems.
Conditions of Employment & Working Conditions
A valid Florida driver’s license is required.
Requires the ability to lift a minimum of 50 pounds.
Good attendance and punctuality is a top priority.
Job Type: Full-time
Pay: $20.00 – $29.00 per hour
Expected hours: 32 – 43 per week
