Duties
Perform lawn care tasks including mowing, edging, fertilizing, and aerating to ensure healthy, vibrant turf.
Maintain landscape features through pruning, tree trimming, shrub shaping, and plant health assessments.
Execute landscape maintenance activities such as planting flowers, installing mulch, and managing irrigation systems for optimal water efficiency.
Operate various hand tools (shovels, rakes, pruners) and power tools (trimmers, blowers, chainsaws) safely and effectively.
Use construction equipment like excavators for larger landscaping projects such as grading or hardscape installation.
Install and repair hardscape elements including patios, walkways, retaining walls, and other outdoor structures.
Assist with gardening tasks like soil preparation and planting to enhance landscape aesthetics.
Support tree care activities including planting young trees or removing hazardous limbs with proper safety procedures.
Maintain equipment through routine inspections and minor repairs to ensure optimal performance.
Collaborate with team members on project planning and execution to meet client specifications and deadlines.
Requirements
Proven mechanical knowledge with experience operating landscaping machinery and hand tools.
Prior experience in lawn care, landscape maintenance, or gardening preferred.
Knowledge of horticulture principles and plant health management.
Ability to operate power tools safely and efficiently in various outdoor conditions.
Experience with excavation equipment such as excavators is a plus but not mandatory; training will be provided if needed.
Strong understanding of landscaping techniques including hardscape installation and irrigation systems.
Physical stamina to perform manual labor outdoors for extended periods in different weather conditions.
Excellent attention to detail combined with a proactive attitude toward safety protocols.
Valid driver’s license with clean driving record preferred; ability to operate company vehicles or equipment is advantageous.

Job Type: Part-time
Pay: $14.00 – $18.00 per hour
Expected hours: 32 per week
