Job Summary
We are seeking a dedicated and skilled Landscape Technician to join our team. The ideal candidate will have a passion for outdoor work and a strong understanding of landscape maintenance practices. This role involves performing various tasks related to the upkeep of residential and commercial landscapes, ensuring that properties are aesthetically pleasing and healthy.
Responsibilities
Perform landscape maintenance tasks including mowing, trimming, and edging turf.
Utilize power tools and hand tools effectively for various landscaping projects.
Conduct tree care activities such as pruning, planting, and removal as needed.
Maintain equipment by performing routine checks and minor repairs to ensure optimal performance.
Collaborate with team members to complete landscaping projects efficiently and safely.
Provide excellent customer service by communicating effectively with clients regarding their landscaping needs.
Qualifications
Proven experience in landscape maintenance or a related field is preferred.
Familiarity with using power tools and hand tools safely and effectively.
Basic mechanical knowledge for equipment maintenance is a plus.
Understanding of lawn care practices, including fertilization, weed control, and irrigation techniques.
Strong attention to detail with the ability to work independently or as part of a team.
Physical stamina to perform manual labor in various weather conditions is essential.
Job Type: Full-time
Pay: $18.00 – $22.00 per hour
