Job Summary
We are seeking a skilled Concrete Finisher Laborer to join our team. The ideal candidate will have a strong background in construction and concrete finishing, with the ability to work effectively on various projects. This role involves working with concrete materials, tools, and equipment to ensure high-quality finishes on all concrete surfaces.
Responsibilities
Prepare and set up work areas for concrete pouring and finishing.
Operate concrete mixers and other heavy equipment as needed.
Install rebar and perform concrete forming tasks to create molds for pouring.
Finish concrete surfaces using hand tools and power tools to achieve desired textures and finishes.
Read blueprints and schematics to understand project specifications.
Collaborate with team members on construction site tasks, ensuring safety protocols are followed.
Assist in heavy lifting and moving of materials as required.
Perform renovation, restoration, and maintenance tasks as needed, including plastering, stucco application, and flooring installation.
Maintain tools and equipment in good working condition.
Qualifications
Proven experience in construction, particularly in concrete finishing and related tasks.
Mechanical knowledge with the ability to operate various hand tools and power tools safely.
Ability to read blueprints, schematics, and technical drawings effectively.
Strong physical stamina for heavy lifting and standing for extended periods.
Previous experience on construction sites is essential; familiarity with safety regulations is preferred.
Skills in carpentry (frame carpentry, trim carpentry), caulking, welding, and concrete pumping are advantageous. Join us in delivering exceptional quality in every project we undertake!
