Outdoor Lighting Installer/Technician

Job Overview:
Trimlight South Bay is seeking motivated, dependable installers to join our in-house team. You’ll work on residential homes installing our permanent outdoor lighting system — including cutting and mounting aluminum channel, placing light strings, and running low-voltage wire along rooftops.
No control box or electrical setup required — our lead handles that. We’ll provide paid, hands-on training so you can learn our system.
Responsibilities:
Install aluminum lighting channel on single- and two-story homes
Mount light strings and run low-voltage wires through the channel
Cut and angle channel around corners and roof features
Jump wires when needed to bypass obstacles (training provided)
Follow safety procedures on ladders and rooftops
Maintain a clean, efficient install site
Communicate with team lead to complete daily installs efficiently
Requirements:
Comfortable working on ladders and rooftops
Familiar with drills, tape measures, and basic hand tools
Reliable transportation to job sites throughout San Diego County
Can follow instructions and work as part of a 3-person install team
Valid driver’s license
Ability to pass a background check
Preferred Experience (Not Required):
Roofing, siding, construction, or low-voltage installs
Experience with cutting tools and mounting exterior materials
Spanish/English bilingual
Own ladder or cordless drill (not required)
Schedule:
Flexible scheduling — notified in advance when installs are booked

Pay: $22.00 – $25.00 per hour
