Job Summary
We are seeking a laborer/painter to join our team. This role requires attention to detail, a commitment to quality, and the ability to work independently or as part of a team. Will be responsible for delivering high-quality finishes on various surfaces while ensuring that all safety protocols are followed.
Duties
Prepare surfaces for painting by scraping, sanding, and filling holes or cracks.
Apply paint, varnish, or other finishes using brushes, rollers, or spray equipment
Estimate materials needed for each project and assist.
Install fixtures and perform minor repairs.
Maintain tools and equipment in good working condition.
Collaborate with other tradespeople, including carpenters and handymen, to ensure project completion.
Adhere to safety standards and regulations throughout the painting process that you will be taught.
Skills
Familiarity with hand tools and equipment used in painting and construction tasks.
Ability to maintain a clean and organized work environment.
Previous experience as a maintenance person or carpenter is advantageous but not required.
