The Carpenter will perform a variety of tasks to support construction projects, including site preparation, material handling, and general labor.
Responsibilities:
Prepare construction sites by cleaning obstacles and hazards
Load and unload construction materials
Assist skilled tradespeople as needed
Operate and maintain construction equipment and tools
Dig trenches, backfill holes, and compact earth
Build and dismantle scaffolding and other temporary structures
Maintain a clean and safe work environment
Follow safety regulations and wear required protective equipment
Qualifications:
Physical ability to lift heavy objects and perform strenuous tasks
Ability to work outdoors in various weather conditions
Basic hand tool knowledge
Strong work ethic and team player
Valid driver’s license (preferred)
Minimum 18 years of age
Successful Pre-Employment Drug Test
Successful Background Investigation
Need to withstand demands of extreme weather conditions and high temperatures
Need to be physically fit and able to lift more than 50 lbs., frequently bending over when necessary
Must be able to climb ladders to access a roof (Extension, Fixed, etc.)
Ability to work in a safe professional manner adhering to all regulatory requirements including, OSHA, State and Federal regulations
