Residential HVAC Installer

Job Overview
We are seeking a skilled and dedicated HVAC Installer to join our team. The ideal candidate will be responsible for installing, maintaining, and repairing heating, ventilation, and air conditioning systems in residential, commercial, and industrial settings. This role requires a strong understanding of HVAC systems, mechanical knowledge, and the ability to interpret schematics and HVAC design plans. The HVAC Installer will work closely with clients and team members to ensure efficient and high-quality service delivery while adhering to safety standards and building codes.
Responsibilities
Install new HVAC systems including air conditioning units, boilers, refrigeration equipment, and related mechanical components.
Read and interpret schematics, blueprints, and HVAC design plans to ensure proper installation procedures.
Perform maintenance, troubleshooting, and repair of HVAC equipment, including refrigeration systems such as ammonia refrigeration.
Conduct plumbing connections necessary for HVAC systems and ensure proper integration with existing property infrastructure.
Utilize tools such as ohmmeters and welding equipment to repair or modify HVAC components.
Diagnose mechanical issues using diagnostic tools and perform necessary repairs or replacements.
Ensure all installations comply with safety standards, building codes, and manufacturer specifications.
Maintain detailed documentation of work performed and parts used during installations or repairs.
Assist in property maintenance tasks related to HVAC systems when required.
Operate a driver vehicle safely for transporting equipment or parts between sites.
Requirements
Proven experience in construction, service technician roles, or field service related to HVAC systems.
Strong mechanical knowledge with experience in appliance repair, plumbing, refrigeration, boiler operation, or property maintenance preferred.
Familiarity with schematics, HVAC design principles, and equipment repair techniques.
Ability to work independently or as part of a team in various environments including residential or commercial properties.
Experience with ammonia refrigeration or HVAC/R systems is a plus.
Proficiency with diagnostic tools such as ohmmeters; welding skills are advantageous.
Valid driver’s license required for safe operation of company vehicles.

Job Type: Full-time
Pay: $80,000.00 – $140,000.00 per year
