We are seeking a dynamic and skilled Commercial & Residential Service Plumber with a strong focus on plumbing systems for commercial and residential settings and backflow testing, repair and install. While a valid plumbing license is preferred, we welcome candidates with extensive hands-on experience in plumbing. Duties
Install, repair, and maintain plumbing systems in commercial and residential properties, including pipes, fixtures, water heaters, and drainage systems.
Read and interpret blueprints, schematics, and technical drawings to execute plumbing layouts accurately are a bonus.
Use hand tools, power tools, and drain cleaning equipment.
Perform service tasks such as fixture replacements, pipe rerouting, and system upgrades with precision.
Conduct routine inspections of plumbing systems to identify leaks, blockages, or potential issues before they escalate.
Collaborate with homeowners, property management, and property owners.
Operate construction site equipment safely while adhering to OSHA safety standards.
Read schematics and technical manuals to ensure proper installation and maintenance procedures are followed..
Lift heavy materials safely during installation or repair work while maintaining proper ergonomic practices.
Maintain detailed records of work performed, parts used, and inspections completed for project documentation.
Support team members in assembly tasks or maintenance person duties as needed to ensure project completion on schedule.
Requirements
Proven experience in construction/ service plumbing within commercial or residential environments; prior site experience is highly valued.
Ability to read blueprints, schematics, and technical diagrams accurately is a bonus.
Proficiency using hand tools (wrenches, pliers), power tools (drills, saws), and specialized equipment (pipe threaders, drain cleaning equipment, ect.).
Basic math skills for measurements and calculations essential for precise installations.
Valid driver’s license with commercial driving experience preferred for travel between job sites.
Physical ability to perform heavy lifting and work at heights or confined spaces when required.
Excellent problem-solving skills with a proactive approach to troubleshooting plumbing issues quickly and effectively.
