Job Summary
We are seeking a skilled and reliable Commercial Plumber to join our team in the New Braunfels area. The ideal candidate will have extensive experience in construction plumbing, site work, and mechanical systems, with the ability to read blueprints and schematics. This role involves installing, repairing, and maintaining plumbing systems in commercial buildings, ensuring compliance with safety standards and building codes. The position offers an opportunity to work on diverse projects within a dynamic construction environment, supporting the development and maintenance of essential infrastructure.
Duties
Install, repair, and maintain plumbing systems in commercial buildings, including piping, fixtures, and appliances
Read and interpret blueprints, schematics, and technical drawings to ensure accurate installation and repairs
Use hand tools, power tools, pipe threading equipment, and welding techniques to complete tasks efficiently
Perform heavy lifting and physical tasks required for construction site work and remodeling projects
Conduct maintenance on existing plumbing systems to prevent failures and ensure optimal operation
Assist with remodeling projects by integrating plumbing components with carpentry and HVAC systems
Troubleshoot mechanical issues related to plumbing and related systems on-site
Follow safety protocols at all times to maintain a safe working environment
Skills
Proven experience in construction, construction plumbing, welding, and mechanical knowledge
Proficiency with hand tools, power tools, pipe threading, and schematics reading
Strong understanding of blueprint reading and HVAC systems integration
Ability to perform heavy lifting and physically demanding tasks on construction sites
Knowledge of carpentry, remodeling, and general maintenance work
Experience with field service operations and commercial driving preferred
Basic math skills necessary for measurements, calculations, and schematic interpretation
Excellent problem-solving skills with attention to detail in complex environments
