Plumber (Contract-to-hire)

Position Overview:
The Plumber will perform plumbing installation, maintenance, and repair work across our facilities and community projects. This role requires a professional with strong technical skills and a commitment to helping others.
Responsibilities:
Install, repair, and maintain plumbing systems, including pipes, fixtures, and appliances
Diagnose plumbing issues and recommend solutions
Ensure compliance with local plumbing codes and safety regulations
Assist with maintenance and renovation projects across multiple sites
Maintain plumbing tools and equipment in safe working condition
Work collaboratively with staff, volunteers, and contractors
Document work completed and report issues as needed
Qualifications:
Proven experience as a plumber (residential, commercial, or both)
Strong problem-solving and diagnostic skills
Ability to work independently and as part of a team
Good communication and interpersonal skills
Physical ability to handle manual labor and work in various environments
Dependable, punctual, and detail-oriented
Job Type: Contract
Pay: $19.00 – $22.00 per hour
Expected hours: 40 per week
