**Job Overview:**
We are seeking a skilled Plumber/Installer to join our team. As a Plumber, you will be responsible for ensuring the proper installation, maintenance, and repair of pipes, fixtures, and appliances within our contracted site(s). The ideal candidate will have experience in plumbing and possess the ability to work effectively in a fast-paced environment.
**Responsibilities:**
– Install, maintain, and repair plumbing systems, including pipes, fixtures, and appliances.
– Troubleshoot and diagnose plumbing issues to ensure proper function and prevent leaks or damage.
– Use power tools and construction equipment to complete tasks efficiently.
– Collaborate with carpenters and other construction professionals to build and maintain construction sites.
– Read and interpret blueprints and schematics to understand plumbing systems and their components.
– Perform routine inspections to identify potential issues and implement preventative measures.
– Perform remodeling and renovation work, as necessary.
– Utilize basic math skills to calculate material quantities and ensure proper installation.
– Work safely and efficiently in a field service environment.
**Qualifications:**
– Proven experience as a Plumber, preferably in an installer capacity.
– Strong knowledge of plumbing systems and their components.
– Proficiency in the use of power tools and construction equipment.
– Experience in carpentry or building is a plus.
– Ability to read and interpret blueprints and schematics.
– Strong understanding of construction site safety protocols.
– Basic math skills for calculating material quantities and ensuring proper installation.
– Ability to work effectively in a fast-paced environment and maintain a high level of productivity.

Job Type: Full-time
Pay: $20.00 – $28.00 per hour based on experience
Expected hours: 35 – 40 per week
Duties
Install, repair, and maintain plumbing systems, including pipes, fixtures, and appliances.
Read and interpret blueprints to determine the layout of plumbing systems.
Use power tools and hand tools effectively for various plumbing tasks.
Conduct field service calls to diagnose issues and provide solutions.
Perform heavy lifting as necessary for installations or repairs.
Collaborate with other tradespeople, including carpenters and HVAC technicians, during construction or remodeling projects.
Ensure compliance with local plumbing codes and regulations.
Maintain a clean and organized work environment.
Requirements
Proven experience as a plumber with a strong understanding of construction plumbing practices.
Proficiency in blueprint reading and mechanical knowledge related to plumbing systems.
Familiarity with power tools and equipment used in plumbing installation and repair.
Ability to perform heavy lifting as required by the job duties.
Experience in remodeling projects is a plus.
Knowledge of HVAC systems is advantageous but not mandatory.
Welding skills are considered an asset for specific plumbing tasks.
Strong problem-solving skills and attention to detail.
Excellent communication skills to interact effectively with clients and team members.
