Job Summary
We are seeking a motivated and skilled Service Plumber to join our dynamic team. In this role, you will be responsible for installing, repairing, and maintaining plumbing systems across various residential, commercial, and industrial sites. Duties
Install, repair, and maintain plumbing systems including pipes, fixtures, valves, and appliances on construction sites or existing structures
Read and interpret blueprints, schematics, and technical drawings to accurately execute plumbing tasks
Use hand tools such as wrenches, pipe cutters, and pliers as well as power tools for efficient installation and repairs
Perform pipe threading and welding when necessary to ensure secure connections
Conduct remodeling projects by replacing or upgrading existing plumbing components
Collaborate with construction teams to coordinate plumbing work within larger building projects
Troubleshoot plumbing issues using mechanical knowledge and diagnostic skills to identify root causes
Follow safety protocols on construction sites, including heavy lifting techniques and proper use of personal protective equipment (PPE)
Read basic math measurements for precise pipe cutting and fitting
Operate construction equipment such as scaffolding or forklifts when required for site access or material handling
Maintain detailed records of work performed and materials used for project documentation
Assist with HVAC system components related to plumbing when needed
Support general maintenance person tasks including minor carpentry or remodeling work
Qualifications
Proven experience in construction plumbing or related fields with hands-on work on construction sites
Knowledge of construction methods, schematics, blueprints, and technical drawings
Skilled in using hand tools, power tools, pipe threading equipment, welding equipment, and schematics reading
Mechanical aptitude with understanding of plumbing systems, HVAC components, and pipe installation techniques
Ability to lift heavy materials safely and perform physically demanding tasks regularly
Strong problem-solving skills with attention to detail in troubleshooting issues quickly and effectively
Basic math skills for measurements and calculations during installations or repairs
Valid driver’s license with commercial driving experience preferred for site access or material transport
Maintenance Person experience or remodeling background is a plus for versatile project support
