Job Detail
- Operate snow plows, shovels, and other hand tools to clear driveways, sidewalks, parking lots, and walkways
- Use power tools and machinery such as excavators for larger snow removal projects when necessary
- Perform routine maintenance on equipment to ensure optimal performance
- Assist with landscaping tasks including mowing, tree trimming, gardening, and irrigation during off-season periods
- Conduct landscape maintenance including lawn care, hardscape installation, and general horticulture tasks
- Ensure work areas are safe by removing snow and ice promptly to prevent accidents
- Support other construction or landscape projects as needed using hand tools and power tools
- Follow safety protocols at all times during snow removal operations
- Requirements
- Prior experience or knowledge in mechanical systems, lawn care, landscape maintenance, or construction is preferred
- Familiarity with hand tools, power tools, and equipment such as excavators is a plus
- Ability to operate snow plowing equipment safely and efficiently
- Physical stamina to perform strenuous outdoor work in cold weather conditions
- Knowledge of tree care, tree trimming, mowing, irrigation systems, and horticulture is advantageous
- Strong work ethic with attention to detail and safety standards
- Ability to work independently or as part of a team in various weather conditions
- Valid driver’s license is preferred for operating larger equipment or vehicles involved in snow removal operations
- Job Types: Full-time, Part-time, Temporary
- Pay: $20 – $25 per hour
- Expected hours: No more than 80 per week
