Job Detail
- Operate snow plowing equipment, including trucks and snow blowers, to clear driveways, walkways, parking lots, and other designated areas.
- Utilize hand tools and power tools for snow removal, ice control, and minor landscape maintenance tasks.
- Perform routine maintenance on equipment such as excavators, lawn care tools, and landscaping machinery to ensure optimal performance.
- Assist with landscape maintenance tasks such as mowing, tree trimming, gardening, irrigation system upkeep, and hardscape work as needed.
- Conduct safety inspections of equipment before use and ensure work areas are safe for pedestrians and vehicles.
- Collaborate with team members to complete snow removal efficiently while adhering to safety protocols.
- Maintain cleanliness of work areas post-operation to prevent hazards.
- Skills
- Mechanical knowledge related to landscaping, construction equipment, and power tools.
- Experience with lawn care, landscape maintenance, gardening, irrigation systems, and hardscape projects.
- Proficiency in operating snow plowing machinery such as snow blowers, trucks equipped with plows, or excavators.
- Familiarity with hand tools used in landscaping and maintenance tasks.
- Knowledge of tree care practices including trimming and arborist techniques.
- Ability to perform physical labor in cold weather conditions for extended periods.
- Strong attention to safety procedures when handling equipment and working outdoors.
- Prior experience in landscaping or horticulture is a plus.
