Job Detail
- Read and interpret blueprints, schematics, and technical drawings to accurately execute installation plans.
- Install flooring materials including tile, hardwood, laminate, carpet, LVT and other surface coverings with precision.
- Perform tile laying and caulking tasks to ensure seamless finishes and water-tight seals.
- Carry out cabinet installation, fixture mounting, trim carpentry, and construction painting to enhance interior aesthetics.
- Utilize hand tools and power tools effectively for cutting, shaping, assembling, and finishing various materials.
- Conduct restoration work such as water damage repair, surface buffing, floor care maintenance, and concrete finishing to restore spaces to optimal condition.
- Assist with remodeling projects by applying construction estimating skills to plan project scope and materials needed.
- Read schematics and blueprints confidently to ensure accurate placement of fixtures and structural components.
- Support water damage restoration efforts by assessing damage areas and implementing appropriate repair techniques.
- Maintain a clean and safe work environment by adhering to safety protocols on construction sites.
- Collaborate with team members to complete projects on time while maintaining quality standards.
- Requirements
- Proven experience in construction site work with a focus on flooring installation, tile laying, or restoration industries.
- Strong knowledge of construction estimating processes and blueprint reading skills.
- Hands-on experience with hand tools such as saws, drills, chisels, as well as power tools including grinders and buffing machines.
- Skilled in carpentry tasks
- Familiarity with schematics for electrical or plumbing fixtures is a plus.
- Experience in water damage restoration or general remodeling projects is highly desirable.
- Ability to work safely at heights or in confined spaces when required.
- Excellent problem-solving skills with keen attention to detail for precise installations.
- Effective communication skills to collaborate with team members and clients alike.
