Job Detail
- Measure, cut, and install windows according to project specifications using hand tools, power tools, and fabrication equipment
- Read and interpret schematics, blueprints, and construction drawings to ensure accurate installation
- Perform caulking, trim carpentry, frame carpentry, and fixture installation to complete window setups
- Handle heavy lifting of windows and related materials safely and efficiently
- Assist with remodeling projects that may include cabinet installation, door hanging, metal stud framing, and drywall work
- Maintain a clean and safe work environment by following safety protocols at all times
- Collaborate with team members to complete projects on time and within scope
- Experience
- Proven experience in glass installation, window or fixture installation, or related construction roles
- Familiarity with construction estimating, schematics reading, fabrication, remodeling, and maintenance person tasks
- Skilled in using hand tools such as saws, drills, levels, caulking guns, and other relevant equipment
- Experience working on construction sites with knowledge of safety procedures and heavy lifting techniques
- Background in carpentry including trim carpentry, frame carpentry, door hanging, metal stud framing, and general remodeling projects is preferred
- Strong understanding of blueprint reading and schematic interpretation is advantageous
- Prior experience with manufacturing or construction painting is a plus
- This position requires physical stamina for heavy lifting and working at heights or in confined spaces. Candidates should demonstrate a commitment to quality craftsmanship and safety standards.
