Job Detail
  • Read and interpret blueprints, schematics, and construction drawings to accurately execute framing plans.
  • Measure, cut, assemble, and install wood and metal framing components using hand tools and power tools.
  • Construct wall frames, floor systems, roof trusses, and other structural elements with precision.
  • Install sheathing, siding, drywall framing, and other exterior or interior framing components.
  • Collaborate with project managers and other trades to ensure timely completion of framing tasks.
  • Perform heavy lifting and physically demanding tasks safely while maintaining high standards of quality.
  • Conduct site inspections to verify measurements and alignment. make adjustments as needed.
  • Assist with related construction activities such as concrete forming, rebar installation, or roofing when required.
  • Maintain a clean and organized work environment. adhere to all safety protocols on-site.
  • Use schematics and technical drawings to guide fabrication and assembly processes.
  • Support restoration projects by performing repairs involving water damage restoration, plastering, or siding replacement when necessary.
  • ExperienceCandidates should possess substantial experience in construction site environments with a focus on framing carpentry. Prior work involving blueprint reading, metal stud framing, or heavy timber construction is highly desirable. Familiarity with various tools—including hand tools like hammers and chisels as well as power tools such as saws and drills—is essential for success in this role. Experience in related trades such as trim carpentry, cabinetry installation, or masonry will be considered a strong asset. Candidates with background knowledge in the restoration industry—covering mold remediation or water damage repair—are encouraged to apply. A solid understanding of schematics, electrical experience related to fixture installation or electrical rough-ins, plumbing basics, roofing techniques, flooring installation including tile laying or hardwoods, and metal stud framing will set you apart. Applicants should demonstrate excellent physical stamina for heavy lifting and working at heights or in confined spaces. Safety awareness is paramount. familiarity with OSHA standards or equivalent safety regulations is preferred.
