- As the Lead Technician, you’ll manage your shift while ensuring your team meets repair and maintenance deadlines. Your responsibilities include: Overseeing shift operations, ensuring work is completed on time and to high standards Assigning tasks to technicians and managing the flow of work Answering customer service calls, assisting with needs, and creating work orders Ensuring safety and compliance with company policies and procedures Troubleshooting and repairing refrigeration units using OEM software, reading codes, and diagnosing electrical issues Handling repairs for minor and major truck and trailer systems: fuel, coolant, electrical, drivetrain, brakes, suspension, and more Conducting PM services on trailers, refrigeration units, and APU units Performing FHWA/DOT inspections on trucks and trailers Brake and ABS brake system replacements Tire repairs and replacements for trucks and trailers Structural, rear door, and electrical trailer repairs Performing APU repair and troubleshooting Performing road service work, servicing company vehicles, and maintaining equipment Maintaining a clean and organized shop environment Leading by example and adhering to company and customer standards Learn More About the Job!
