- Home Dispatch: Begin your day from home (where applicable) Main Duties: Diagnose, troubleshoot, and repair commercial HVAC systems, including rooftop units (RTUs), chillers, boilers, DX equipment, fan systems, and refrigeration units.
- Perform routine service, maintenance, and warranty work to ensure optimal system performance.
- Conduct preventive maintenance inspections and recommend necessary repairs or upgrades.
- Track and document work performed, including obtaining purchase orders and completing service reports.
- Travel to customer locations to provide on-site service and repairs. Secondary Duties: Train apprentices and junior technicians.
- Communicate effectively with customers regarding service recommendations and system performance.
- Assist in ordering necessary parts and materials for repairs and maintenance. Requirements: Ability to carry and climb a ladder up to 28′.
- Ability to sit and stand for long periods.
- Ability to lift up to 50 lbs.
- Valid Driver’s License.
- EPA license.
- OSHA 10 certification (minimum).
- 5+ years of commercial HVAC service experience, including troubleshooting and repairing various systems.
- Strong diagnostic and problem-solving skills.
- Proficient in reading and interpreting blueprints, schematics, and technical manuals.
- Excellent communication skills.
- Experience with mechanical systems, including chillers, DX equipment, boilers, refrigeration, and basic controls.
- Preferred Qualifications: Experience working with chillers.
- Control/BAS experience.
- KY Journeyman License (or ability to obtain). Salary Range: $28/h – $34/h
