- Medical Flex Spending accounts – Family care The position of HVAC Install Apprentice/Helper is to deliver exceptional HVAC installation service to the customer by completing and installing HVAC equipment and accessories and to ensure all work is performed correctly and is reflective of Hiller’s values. Job Responsibilities:
- Assist the Lead Installation Technician with the installation of HVAC related equipment according to manufacturer’s specifications.
- Support Lead Installer in:
- Installing HVAC related equipment.
- Installing Sheet metal duct systems.
- Connecting gas lines to heating equipment.
- Cutting and threading pipes.
- Wiring both line voltage and low voltage to heating equipment.
- Installing copper refrigerant line to air conditioning units, including soldering and brazing.
- Perform other duties as assigned.
- Knowledge, Skills and Abilities:
- Prior work experience in the HVAC industry as an HVAC Install Apprentice.
- Possess good analytical skills and attention to detail.
- Excellent customer service skills with desire to exceed customer expectations.
- Must be able to use a computer tablet, smart ph1and read a map or follow GPS.
- Requirements:
- EPA Certified or pursuing.
- A High School diploma or general education degree (GED) required.
- NATE Certification preferred.
- HVAC certification or Diploma preferred.
- Prior work experience in the HVAC industry as an HVAC Install Apprentice.
- Valid driver’s license, and approved to drive by Company’s insurance carrier.
