Job Successes is required

• Operate a variety of hand and power tools to inspect, repair, and install hvac equipment.
• Demonstrate Respect and Compassion when communicating with clients on work performed and on recommendations for repairs or replacement
• Document service performed and recommendations made by completing applicable forms, reports, logs, and/or records
• Completes all tasks in accordance with Shafer Heating and Cooling quality and safety standards
• Update job knowledge by participating in educational opportunities (internal and/or external)
• General Requirements:
• Strong communication and customer service skills
• Ability to work with high degree of integrity and promote positive company image
• Analytical, Focused on Quality, and Results-driven
• Ability to understand and follow oral and writ10directions
• Excel within a team environment and willing to support all areas of our business
• Satisfactory passing of mandatory pre-employment drug screen and background check
• Valid driver’s license, with minimal DMV infractions
• Working Conditions and Physical Effort:
• Work is performed in residential properties (attic, garage, crawl space, roof)
• Moderate physical effort required, including standing, squatting, sitting for extended periods of time
• Moderate exposure to physical risk

• Qualifications
• Familiarity with construction and service technician tasks
• Mechanical knowledge for field service and equipment repair
• Valid driver’s license for van driving duties
• Willingness to learn and work in a fast-paced environment
