Job Brief
Job summary: the commercial hvac install helper works closely with a lead hvac installation technician to assist in the installation and/or replacement of commercial hvac/r systems.
Salary Detail
$18 – $24 an hour

Diploma or equivalent.
Job Detail
- Provide support to Lead Technician throughout the installation process of commercial HVAC/R systems.
- Carry out basic tasks such as lifting and moving equipment, tools, and materials to and from the work area.
- Prepare job sites by organizing and setting up necessary tools and equipment.
- Help with the installation of electrical wiring, controls, and sensors according to specifications.
- Perform basic measurements, calculations, and adjustments as directed by the Lead Technician.
- Maintain a clean and organized work area, ensuring that tools and materials are properly stored.
- Follow all safety protocols and guidelines to ensure a safe working environment for yourself and others.
- Assist in troubleshooting and resolving any issues or challenges that may arise during the installation process.
- Communicate effectively with the Lead Technician and other team members to ensure smooth coordination and completion of tasks.
- Safely drives company vehicle, follows requirements of company vehicle driving policy and adheres to all safety requirements. Requirements: High School Diploma or equivalent.
- HVAC trade school certificate/diploma or current enrollment in a trade school preferred.
- Previous experience in construction or a relatable field is preferred.
- Basic knowledge of HVAC systems and components.
- Ability to use hand and power tools.
- Physical strength and stamina to perform manual tasks, including lifting heavy equipment and materials.
- Ability to work at heights and in confined spaces, adhering to safety regulations.
- Excellent teamwork and communication skills.
- Willingness to learn and take direction from experienced HVAC technicians.
- Basic computer skills.
- Must possess a valid driver’s license with an insurable driving record.
- Must pass a drug screen and complete a satisfactory background check. We Offer: Weekly paychecks – $18 – $24/hr. based on experience, qualifications, and skills.
