$35 – $42 an hour

Job Detail
  • Load system-level controller software and verify proper operation of connected devices.
  • Perform commissioning tasks and diagnostics on sensors, actuators, and system controllers.
  • Calibrate equipment using basic electronic test tools to ensure accurate system performance.
  • Troubleshoot and resolve common HVAC mechanical, electrical, and controls-related issues.
  • Respond to warranty service calls and deliver efficient, customer-focused solutions.
  • Communication Documentation
  • Keep contractors, customers, and internal teams updated on project progress, issues, and next steps.
  • Complete commissioning documents, change logs, time sheets, expense reports, and on-site notes.
  • Provide clear, accurate information for as-built documentation after system adjustments.
  • Communicate with the customer upon arrival and before leaving the worksite to ensure alignment.
  • Safety Standards
  • Follow all required safety policies and attend scheduled safety training sessions.
  • Maintain a strong focus on both personal safety and the safety of others on-site.
  • What You Bring
  • Demonstrated technical aptitude and willingness to learn.
  • Experience using hand and power tools (drills, saws, etc.).
  • Basic computer skills and the ability to navigate commissioning tools/software.
  • Strong attention to detail—especially when documenting work.
  • Good communication and listening skills when working with customers, contractors, and team members.
  • Depending on the region, the ability to obtain required low-voltage mounting/termination licensing.
  • Additional Details
  • Driving Required: Yes — you’ll use your personal vehicle to travel to job sites.
  • Mileage: Fully reimbursed.
  • Work Environment: On-site. this is not a remote position.
