Job Detail
- Perform preventive maintenance on HVAC equipment including chillers, boilers, air handlers, and rooftop units
- Diagnose and repair mechanical, electrical, and pneumatic issues in commercial HVAC systems
- Conduct routine inspections and testing of building automation systems and controls
- Respond to tenant comfort complaints and emergency service calls promptly and professionally
- Maintain accurate records of all maintenance activities, work orders, and equipment performance data
- Collaborate with facility management teams to optimize energy efficiency and system performance
- Support sustainability initiatives through proper equipment operation and energy conservation practices Required qualifications: High school diploma or equivalent with completion of HVAC technical training program
- 2+ years of experience in commercial HVAC maintenance and repair
- Valid EPA Universal Refrigerant Handling Certification
- Strong understanding of electrical systems, controls, and building automation systems
- Ability to read and interpret blueprints, schematics, and technical manuals
- Physical capability to lift up to 50 pounds and work in various environmental conditions
- Excellent problem-solving skills and attention to detail Preferred qualifications: Associate’s degree in HVAC technology or related field
- Additional certifications such as NATE, AAON, or manufacturer-specific training
- Experience with computerized maintenance management systems (CMMS)
- Knowledge of energy management systems and sustainable building practices
- Commercial driver’s license (CDL) or ability to obtain one
- Previous experience in commercial real estate or property management environments
