About ussweep construction is a small general contractor that has recently opened a new electrical division and is seeking motivated individuals to grow with our new team.

Salary Detail
$24.00 – $30.97 an hour

Job Detail
  • Install, terminate, and test structured cabling systems (Cat5e, Cat6, fiber optic).
  • Install and service low-voltage systems such as fire alarms, security, CCTV, access control, intercom, and audio/visual systems.
  • Read and interpret plans, wiring diagrams, and system schematics.
  • Troubleshoot system issues and perform repairs or upgrades as needed.
  • Coordinate with general contractors, clients, and other trades.
  • Ensure installations comply with manufacturer specifications, codes, and industry standards.
  • Maintain accurate documentation, labeling, and cable management.
  • Follow company and site-specific safety protocols.
  • Preferred Skills Qualifications
  • Experience with low-voltage cable pulling, routing, and termination
  • Ability to lift 50+ lbs and work on ladders, lifts, and in ceiling spaces
  • Proficiency with testing equipment (cable certifiers, t1generators, multimeters, etc.)
  • Experience with:
  • Fire alarm systems
  • CCTV and IP camera systems
  • Access control and door hardware
  • Audio/visual presentation systems
  • Network racks, patch panels, and cable management solutions
  • Understanding of basic electrical theory (especially 24V, 48V, PoE systems)
  • Familiarity with NEC, NFPA 70, NFPA 72, BICSI standards (or similar)
  • Ability to work independently or lead small teams
  • Excellent communication, organization, and problem-solving skills
  • Requirements
  • Minimum 4 years of low-voltage or specialty systems experience
  • Relevant certifications preferred (NICET, BICSI, CompTIA, manufacturer certs, etc.)
  • Valid driver’s license and reliable transportation
  • Ability to work in various environments, including heights and confined spaces
  • Willingness to travel or work overtime as needed

  • Pay: $24 – $30.97 per hour
