Job Detail
- Install, repair, and maintain three-phase electrical systems in industrial and commercial settings
- Read and interpret blueprints, schematics, and technical drawings to ensure accurate installation and troubleshooting
- Use hand tools, power tools, multimeters such as ohmmeters, and other testing equipment to diagnose electrical issues
- Work with programmable logic controllers (PLCs), low voltage systems, and NEC standards to ensure compliance and safety
- Perform wiring, conduit bending, framing carpentry, and schematic reading for various electrical projects
- Conduct routine inspections of electrical systems to identify potential hazards or failures
- Assist in renovation projects by upgrading existing electrical infrastructure
- Follow all safety protocols related to high voltage and low voltage electrical work on construction sites
- Collaborate with other trades such as frame carpentry or maintenance person services as needed for integrated project completion
- Experience
- Proven industrial electrician experience with a solid understanding of high voltage (HV) and low voltage (LV) systems
- Commercial electrician experience preferred, with knowledge of NEC regulations and schematics reading
- Hands-on experience working on construction sites or renovation projects involving electrical installations
- Familiarity with programmable logic controllers (PLCs), schematics interpretation, and blueprint reading
- Skilled in the use of hand tools, power tools, ohmmeters, and other diagnostic equipment
- Background in construction or renovation projects involving electrical systems is highly desirable
- Ability to work safely in high-risk environments while adhering to all safety standards and protocols
