- Prioritizes the Electricians and repairs of company equipment and parts.
- Must be proficient in creating work orders.
- Must be able to use hand tools and power tools.
- Familiarity with electrical power, Electrical testing and safety practices.
- Must be proactive and engaged in all repairs.
- Well-rounded Electrical skills.
- Willingness to train others with hands-on demonstrations.
- Assist with the development and sustainment of the Preventive Maintenance (PM) programs.
- Mentors and trains other technicians by motivating, providing guidance and directions to help them achieve the department and plant goals.
- Reviews and plans work orders for accuracy and clarity: clear scope of work, correct equipment identification, realistic lead times and completion dates. discusses details with originator of the work order.
- Communicates schedule to all resources: maintenance, quality, and production.
- Participate in project teams to replace, upgrade or expand plant equipment.
- Lead Electrician Experience Minimum of 8(8) years of industrial electrician experience in a manufacturing environment.
- Must be able to work rotating shift schedule and overtime.
- Prior experience leading a team.
- Lead Electrician Knowledge, Skills Abilities Identifies and resolves problems in a timely manner. works well in group problem solving situations. and uses reason even when dealing with emotional topics.
