Job Detail
- Install, repair, and troubleshoot electrical wiring, fixtures, and systems according to blueprints, schematics, and NEC (National Electrical Code) standards.
- Read and interpret technical drawings such as schematics and blueprints to accurately execute electrical installations.
- Use hand tools, power tools, ohmmeters, and other testing equipment to diagnose electrical issues efficiently.
- Work on construction sites performing wiring for new builds or renovations of existing structures across commercial or industrial facilities.
- Manage low voltage systems including security alarms, fire alarms, data cabling, and communication networks.
- Ensure compliance with safety protocols related to high voltage (HV) and low voltage (LV) electrical systems while maintaining a safe work environment.
- Collaborate with project managers, engineers, frame carpenters, and other tradespeople to coordinate installation schedules and project timelines.

- Proven experience as a Journeyman Electrician with a strong understanding of NEC standards and electrical codes.
- Skilled in reading blueprints, schematics, and technical diagrams for precise installation work.
- Proficient in using hand tools such as screwdrivers, pliers, wire strippers. power tools including drills and saws. as well as testing devices like ohmmeters.
- Knowledge of low voltage wiring for security systems, fire alarms, data cabling.
- Familiarity with construction site safety practices including framing carpentry basics and renovation procedures.
- Ability to interpret schematics accurately for troubleshooting complex electrical issues.
- Strong problem-solving skills combined with hands-on maintenance person experience for diverse repair needs.
- Excellent communication skills for collaborating effectively with team members across multiple trades.
