Job Detail
- Install, repair, and maintain plumbing systems using hand tools, power tools, and pipe threading equipment
- Read and interpret blueprints, schematics, and technical drawings to ensure accurate installation and repairs
- Perform construction estimating for plumbing projects to determine materials and labor costs
- Conduct welding and fabrication tasks as needed for custom pipe fitting or system modifications
- Assist with remodeling, maintenance, and troubleshooting of plumbing systems in various settings
- Operate heavy machinery or equipment required for large-scale plumbing projects
- Perform basic math calculations for measurements, material estimates, and system layouts
- Collaborate with team members on site to ensure timely project completion and adherence to schematics
- Qualifications
- Proven experience in construction plumbing, site work, or related trades
- Knowledge of construction estimating, blueprint reading, and schematics interpretation
- Proficiency with hand tools, power tools, pipe threading equipment, and welding techniques
- Ability to perform heavy lifting safely and efficiently on construction sites
- Experience with carpentry, remodeling, assembly, or maintenance person services is advantageous
- Valid commercial driver’s license (CDL) preferred but not required
- Excellent problem-solving skills with attention to detail
- Ability to work independently or as part of a team in physically demanding environments
- Basic math skills for measurements and calculations required for project planning
