- ResponsibilitiesAssist senior plumbers with installation, repair, and maintenance of plumbing systems on construction sites and remodeling projects. Support the setup and operation of hand tools, power tools, and specialized equipment such as pipe threading machines and welding apparatus. Read and interpret blueprints, schematics, and mechanical drawings to understand project requirements. Help with cutting, fitting, and assembling pipes using various techniques including pipe threading and soldering. Participate in site inspections to ensure safety standards are maintained and work is executed accurately. Contribute to the installation of HVAC systems, fixtures, and piping components as directed. Support general construction activities such as carpentry, remodeling, and maintenance person tasks to facilitate smooth project progress. Maintain a clean and organized workspace while adhering to safety protocols at all times. Collaborate with team members to troubleshoot issues using mechanical knowledge and field service experience.
- SkillsStrong foundation in construction plumbing principles with familiarity in reading blueprints, schematics, and technical diagrams. Proficiency with hand tools, power tools, and pipe threading equipment is essential. Basic math skills for measurements, calculations, and material estimations are required. Mechanical aptitude combined with knowledge of HVAC systems enhances your versatility on-site.
