Job Detail
  • Project Management:
  • · Oversee all aspects of plumbing projects from initial planning, all phases and closeout.
  • · Develop detailed work plans for crews, schedules, and timelines, and adjust proactively to keep projects on track.
  • · Monitor project costs and manage budgets, including tracking labor, materials, and equipment expenditures.
  • · Coordinate with general contractors, clients, suppliers, and other trades (e.g, electricians, architects) to ensure smooth project operations.
  • · Review and interpret blueprints, schematics, and technical documents to guide installations and prevent errors.
  • · Prepare and maintain all project documentation, including permits, daily logs, inspection reports, and change orders.
  • Employee Management Leadership:
  • · Direct, manage, and mentor a team of journey-level plumbers and apprentices, providing technical guidance and support as needed.
  • · Schedule and assign daily tasks to crew members, ensuring efficient deployment of manpower and resources.
  • · Foster a positive team environment, conducting regular meetings (e.g, toolbox talks) to communicate work scope, safety concerns, and progress.
  • · Evaluate team member performance, provide feedback, and support professional growth.
  • Quality Safety Assurance:
  • Provide quality control checks utilizing a digital scheduling program via iPads, with documentation (photos and notes) daily.
  • Ensure all plumbing work complies with local and national plumbing codes, safety regulations (e.g, OSHA), and company standards.
  • Enforce a safe work environment and lead safety initiatives to protect personnel and prevent incidents.
  • Required Qualifications Skills
  • Minimum of 5-10 years of experience as a plumber, with at least 2-3 years in a supervisory or foreman role.
  • Bi-Lingual, English/Spanish is preferred.
  • Valid plumbing license (Journeyman or Master Plumber).
  • Thorough understanding of plumbing systems (commercial/residential), building codes, and safety standards.
  • Strong leadership, communication, problem-solving, and decision-making capabilities.
  • Proficiency in reading and interpreting blueprints, schematics, and technical documents.
  • Excellent time management and organizational skills, with the ability to manage multiple projects simultaneously.
  • Familiarity with project management software, estimating tools, and standard office applications.
  • Valid driver’s license and ability to travel to various job sites.
