Job Detail
- Perform oil changes and fluid top-offs using appropriate hand tools and power tools
- Conduct tire rotations, replacements, and wheel alignments to ensure optimal vehicle performance
- Assist with vehicle inspections and basic diagnostics to identify maintenance needs
- Use mechanical knowledge to troubleshoot minor issues and communicate findings to service advisors
- Maintain cleanliness of work area and ensure all tools are properly stored after use
- Provide excellent customer service by explaining services performed and addressing customer questions
- Support the team with vehicle maintenance tasks such as brake inspections, filter replacements, and general repairs
- Assist in sales efforts by recommending additional services or products when appropriate
- Lift heavy objects safely during maintenance procedures
- Skills
- Dealership experience or extensive automotive repair background preferred
- Strong mechanical knowledge of vehicle systems and maintenance procedures
- Proficiency with hand tools, power tools, and automotive diagnostic equipment
- Experience with oil changes, tire service, alignments, and general vehicle maintenance
- Knowledge of automotive diagnostics and repair techniques
- Excellent customer service skills to communicate effectively with clients
- Ability to perform heavy lifting safely and efficiently
- Basic sales skills for recommending additional services or products
- Mechanical aptitude combined with attention to detail for quality workmanship
- Ability to work independently as well as part of a team in a busy environment
- Pay: $16 – $19 per hour
