Job Brief
An international automotive parts manufacturing company is currently searching for a senior cnc technician to join their facility located in the coldwater, mi area.
Experience

Diploma in releted field is required
Job Detail
- Set up and operate CNC machine tools (lathes, mills, grinders, etc.), and perform preventative maintenance and troubleshooting as needed
- Perform physical measurements, testing, and quality assurance on finished components
- Provide mentorship and support to production associates. assist with training, performance reviews, and timekeeping / scheduling, and report production activity to department leadership
- Accurately follow work instructions, mechanical drawings, and engineering blueprints / specifications to ensure proper quality of products
- Ensure plantwide compliance to OSHA, EPA, and other safety / environmental requirements and standards
- Tracking of tool and material inventory
- Report production activity to department leadership
- Other duties as assigned
- Senior CNC Technician Qualifications Include:
- High school diploma or GED required
- Previous work history or training in CNC machining and tool and die manufacturing, preferably in an automotive or similar manufacturing environment
- Ability to read and interpret safety rules, operating instructions, and maintenance documents
- Good communication and collaboration skills in a multicultural environment
- Strong problem-solving skills and time management ability
- This position includes manufacturing and warehousing work environment. While performing the duties of this job you may be required to intermittently sit, stand, walk, lift up to 50 pounds, lift in excess of 50 pounds with a lift assist, climb stairs, use hands to handle or feel parts/equipment, reach with hands and arms, stoop, kneel, crouch, bend at the waist, talk and hear. You may also be required to use close vision, distance vision, color vision, depth perception, and peripheral vision.
