Job Detail
- Perform diagnostics and repairs on engines, transmissions, brakes, steering suspension, exhaust systems, and other automotive systems.
- Conduct preventive maintenance: oil changes, filter replacement, belts, hoses, and more.
- Handle tire service: balancing, rotation, TPMS, installation.
- Interpret scan tool data and perform computer-based diagnostics.
- Ensure safety and quality by following proper repair protocols and shop standards.
- Communicate with service advisors: explain needed repairs, estimate time, and parts.
- Help maintain a clean and organized workspace and assist in shop operations as needed.
- Required Qualifications
- 3–5 years of verifiable automotive technician experience.
- Strong diagnostic skills. familiarity with scan tools and repair manuals/forums (Identifix, Prodemand ,etc.). Comfortable ability working on a variety of systems (engine, drivetrain, suspension, etc.).
- Proficient communication skills. ability to explain technical issues to advisors, and team.
- Valid driver’s license.
- ASE Certification is strongly preferred (or equivalent training).
